    COMPARISON: None. 
    
     
    
    TECHNIQUE: The patient had been NPO for more than 14 hours; sincalide (CCK analog) 1.5 mcg was given intravenously over 30 minutes to empty the gallbladder before starting the study. Following intravenous administration of Tc-99m mebrofenin     mCi, dynamic images of the abdomen in the anterior projection were obtained through     minutes. Additional static images were obtained at     hours. 
    
     
    
    FINDINGS:  
    
     
    
    Perfusion of the liver is normal. Extraction of tracer by the liver parenchyma is normal. Tracer appears promptly within the biliary tract. The gallbladder begins to fill by     minutes post-injection of tracer and fills adequately. Tracer is seen in the small bowel by     minutes.  
    
     
    
    IMPRESSION:  
    
     
    
    Normal hepatobiliary scan. No scintigraphic evidence of acute cholecystitis. 
    
    Normal liver function. 
    
    Patent biliary tract and outlet.
