EXAM: BONE SCAN, DELAYED PHASE TOTAL BODY

    REASON FOR EXAM:

    COMPARISON: None.

    RADIOPHARMACEUTICAL: Tc-99m MDP mCi IV

TECHNIQUE: Approximately 3 hours following intravenous administration of the radiopharmaceutical, delayed total body images in the anterior and posterior projections and selected spot images were obtained.

    FINDINGS:

No foci of abnormal activity suspicious for osseous metastases identified.

Soft tissue distribution of radiotracer is grossly unremarkable.

The kidneys and the urinary bladder are visualized secondary to normal route of radiotracer excretion.

    IMPRESSION:

No scintigraphic evidence of active osseous metastasis.
